Joe was appointed the Managing Director of the HJB Taxation Practice in July 2001. Through his guidance the Tax Practice has consolidated its position and now experiences continued annual growth. Joe's productivity and dedication saw him become a Partner in 2002.
Joe's activities cover an extremely broad spectrum of the business. He acts as Financial Controller of HJB and its associated entities, is responsible for all taxation and accounting services, and leads a team of tax professionals. Joe's personal specialisations include complex taxation for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and Super Funds as well as giving detailed advice on business management and business structuring.
Joe is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and has over seventeen years of practical industry experience. His extensive qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Accounting from Canberra University ; a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia ; and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Securities Institute of Australia .
Joe's work ethic revolves around the desire to listen to, and accurately interpret, what clients need and want. He believes that generating effective and measurable results is the only method of achieving business success and personal fulfilment.
